Vintage Navajo variscite and sterling silver turtle brooch. The silversmith has cut out the shape of a sea turtle and mounted a nice oval cut variscite stone on the back to show the shell. The stone is set into a smooth silver bezel and has been polished to a nice sheen. The artist has attached a locking pin/clasp on the back.
