Detailed Hopi lizard/salamander silver overlay oblong silver ring. The silversmith has created an oblong silver overlay of the reptile by etching and oxidizing the base silver and cutting out the lizard on the top silver overlay. He's attached the oblong oval setting to a completely round silver half round wire band. The band does show a hammered area across the bottom of the band evidently from forming the curve into the band.

The ring face measures 1 1/8" by 1/2" across and weighs 5.1 grams. It's a size 5 3/4 and is hallmarked with a symbol called Kopituvuh - Breath of the Sun with a STERLING stamp also by Hopi Silversmith Alvin Taylor. Very nice detailed and well made Hopi overlay ring!  $63.95
