Unique vintage Navajo turquoise and branch coral decorated 3-D Bull Bust bolo tie. Fairly large bolo setting highlighting a solid sterling silver 3-D bulls bust flanked with silver drops along with a 1” long coral branch and a 1 1/2” long coral stick. Under the coral branches is a blue turquoise nugget flanked with a silver drop on each side. Between the coral and under the bull head is three (3) silver buttons with the initials M-E-M. All mounted on an oxidized blackened inverted teardrop framed with a half round stick of sterling silver displaying different sunrise and plant symbols. The frame comes to a point at the bottom and butts into a full sun stamped button.

The large bolo setting measures 3 1/4” by 2 3/8” across with a 4-ply braided black leather cord measuring 37” long which includes the 2 1/4” long sterling seamed bead end tips. The complete bolo tie weighs 68.5 grams (2.416 oz or 2.202 ozt) and is marked M-E-M on the front and GM - MMM on the back side? The GM could stand for Gerald Mitchell? I can say I haven’t seen any recent setting with long branch coral pieces since 60’s early 70’s. I’m going to call it a one-of-a-kind collectable since I don’t believe there are more like it. $858.95
