Large unique Navajo Royston turquoise decorative overlay sterling silver collector’s bolo with braided sterling silver cord. The Tellers have really went full bore sterling silver on this one! The bolo setting displays a very nice high grade polished Royston turquoise stone setting it into a smooth silver bezel mounted in the center of the decorative silver overlay setting. The setting shows ten (10) overlay mountain symbols arching around the top of the stone with seven (7) prayer feathers or prayer fan under the stone. They finish the setting with a double hoop cord slide on the back. Instead of using braided black leather for the cord they have used two (2) braided sterling silver wire cords capping both ends of each cord with custom made barrel tips. They have handmade a nine (9) piece oblong silver link chain to connect the two (2) braided silver cords together with seven (7) attached to one cord and a single link with the large shepherds hook clasp to the other cord allowing the person to adjust the setting by attaching the hook to any of the silver links instead of sliding the bolo setting up or down.

The Bolo setting measures 3 1/8” by 2 1/2” across with the stone measuring 33mm by 26mm across (approx. 2 1/4” by 1” across) Each braided silver cord measures 20” each (40” for both) plus the handmade extension chain measures 6 1/2” long. That make total length of 46 1/2” long which includes the barrel end tips and top barrel tips. (end tips are 2 1/4” long and the top are 5/8” long). The complete bolo tie weighs 200.9 grams (7.09 oz or 6.46 ozt) and is hallmarked on the bolo setting and the barrel tip EMT inside a Fish - STERLING by Everett and Mary Teller.
