Large vintage Zuni multi stone inlay Knifewing collector's bolo with matching Knifewing tips. The artists have created a Knifewing deity by applying multi stone inlays in eight (8) separate sections. Each section consists of stone-to-stone geometrical settings using combinations of turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, yellow shell, and black jet. Each section is set into saw tooth bezels and the artist highlights with multiple silver drops and twisted wire along with coiled wire earrings. Both of the end tips are mini versions of the main Knifewing with same pattern and inlay. I just upgraded the braided leather cord to a 6-ply cord which we will add new pictures soon.

The main Knifewing setting measures 3 1/4" tall by 2 9/16" across the wings with the smaller end tip versions measuring 1 3/4" tall by 1 5/16" across. They are connected to a 6-ply black braided leather cord that measures 41" long which includes the 4" long Knifewing end tips. The complete bolo weighs 61.3 grams (2.16 oz or 1.97 ozt) and is hallmarked H.E.CELLICION - ZUNI by husband and wife Herbert and Esther Cellicion.
