Very nice vintage Navajo turquoise and coral chip inlay belt buckle. The silversmith has created a silver overlay with sun, bird, and I believe kokopelli cut outs. The artist fills the areas with a mix of very fine turquoise and coral chips adding decorative stamped symbols representing mountains, clouds, and land. The artist frames the details with repeating crescent moon stampwork running along both sides. The artist finishes by attaching a stationary belt clasp and set pin on the back.

The buckle measures 2 1/4" tall by 1 3/4" across and weighs 29.2 grams (1.03 oz or .94 ozt) and is unsigned sterling silver. It will accommodate a belt up to 1 1/4" wide. Very nice vintage belt buckle!  $143.95
