Navajo Carico turquoise decorative stamped sandcast belt buckle. The silversmith has created a nice solid sandcast sterling silver buckle that highlights on growth, specifically on growth of crops. The artist has mounted a large oblong cut and polished Carico Lake turquoise stone in center, setting it in a scallop cut bezel wrapped with heavy twisted wire. The artist has applied decorative stampwork in all four (4) corners of running water, full sun, and crescent moon along with plant or crop symbols applied in each of the four (4) directional paths (north, south, east, and west). Stating the elements needed to assume growth for crops which in turn explains every day growth for humanity. The artist finishes the belt buckle by attaching a belt keeper and stop.
