NEW! Heavy solid Navajo Kingman turquoise decorated sterling belt buckle by Everett and Mary Teller. Everett has used a thick solid sterling silver base while creating a rippling texture. Applied five (5) stamped lines across the center running end to end. They mount in center an oval cut and polished teal blue Kingman turquoise stone set into a smooth sterling bezel and wrapped with custom “dot-dash-dot” wire. Continuing the decoration by running large repeating silver drops and smooth wire on top and bottom that goes end to end. Finishing the belt buckle by attaching a swivel mounted keeper and post, or tongue on the back side.

The thick solid belt buckle measures 2” by 3 1/4” across and weighs a healthy 64.3 grams (2.268 oz or 2.067 ozt). The belt keeper will accommodate up to a 1 5/8” wide belt. The Tellers have hallmarked the buckle with their EMT inside a Fish - STERLING mark. $1967.95

BEWARE: With precious metals rising in never before seen high cost the consumer needs to be sure you’re getting the so-called “apples for apples”. Vendors are either using “Nickle silver or German silver” as partial or fully in the construction of the jewelry in an attempt to keep pricing down. I don’t hold that against the vendors, but I do disagree in trying to trick the consumer into getting something else. Using titles like Navajo silver turquoise buckle or pendant with sterling silver overlay buckle or pendant is telling you that the buckle or pendant is made with nickel silver with the decoration being sterling silver. Just using the word “Silver” as a complete description on newly made jewelry is saying the complete piece is made with nickel or German silver.
