Beautiful solid older Navajo onyx repousse cast and stamped angel earrings! Each earring consists of a small round cut and polished black onyx stone set into a smooth bezel and encircled with a smooth wire forming the angels head. The silversmith applies a repousse cast and stamped teardrop representing the body and two (2) repousse cast crescent moons forming the angel's wings. The artist continues decorating with other stampwork and attaches a hand made ear hook to the top using the hook ring as the halo.

Each earring measures 1 1/8" by 13/16" and including the ear hook are 1 1/2" tall. They weigh 3.1 grams each (6.2 grams for both). Both are hallmarked Anthony Kee - COP - Copyright Insignia - 94 - .925 along with STERLING stamped onto a silver plate by the Navajo silversmith. According to the artist, this style of earrings were mass produced for "Castings On Parade Inc." to be sold at venues like QVC. Very nice solid quality earrings!  $39.95
