The silversmith has created a circular cast silver hoop mounting a round cut and polished piece of coral or orange spiny oyster on the bottom of the hoop. Set in a saw tooth bezel, the artist decorates by adding a silver leaf to one side of the coral or spiny oyster and a silver flower bloom to the other side. The artist attaches the decorated hoop to a large silver bead ear stud.

Each earring measures 1 3/8" by 3/4" across with the actual circular hoop being 3/4" diameter. They weigh 3.8 grams each (7.6 grams for both) and are hallmarked CODY - STERLING on an attached silver plate on the back side by the Navajo silversmith.
