Beautiful Navajo turquoise flower sterling silver stamped jewelry box with legs! The jewelry box displays an oval cut and polished brilliant blue turquoise stone set in a smooth bezel and mounted in the center of a stamped flower pedal design. The artist continues with decorative repousse crescent moons and teardrops along with diamond eye, teardrops, sunrise, and feathers stamping completely around the lip top. She also applies stampwork on the sides of both the lid and base. She adds pointed corner legs to all four corners of the base and attaches the lid with two (2) wire and tube clasps on the back and a padlock clasp on the front. The silver box measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/8" and stands 1 1/4" tall from legs to top of lid. The inside depth is 1". It weighs 87.4 grams (3.08 ounces or 2.81 troy ounces) and is signed SUZIE JAMES - STERLING on the underside by the Navajo artist. The box is a great example of quality Navajo craftsmanship!  $645.95
