Beautiful vintage 50's-60's Navajo Carico Lake turquoise pendant and matching ring set. Made with a high gem grade light blue turquoise with brown matrix and white water marks from the Carico Lake Mine. Both stones are set into smooth silver bezels, wrapped 2/3rd's with twisted wire and filled with a silver leaf and graduating silver drops to finish the encircling of the stone. The silversmith finishes the pendant by attaching a silver wire bale and finishes the ring with a solid split shank half round wire band. We received a few pieces from an individual that inherited the jewelry from their mother. They stated at the time the jewelry was purchased in the 1950's. The rest of the jewelry we received does coincide with that era or even earlier.

The pendant measures 1" by 15/16" and weighs 11.1 grams. It's unsigned sterling silver. It comes with a dainty 1mm sterling silver twisted wheat chain that measures 17 1/2" long end to end and is stamped STERLING on the spring loaded clasp. The ring measures 7/8" by 3/4" and weighs 8.6 grams. It's a size 7 1/2 and is unsigned sterling silver. Both pieces have stones that rise up out of their bezels approximately 5/16" tall.
