Unique vintage Southwest-Mexican malachite silver nuggets ring. The silversmith has made an abstract shaped setting using square wire and running a channel separation through the middle. They applied molten silver nuggets into one side and filed them flush with the rest of the setting. The opposite side they set a unique piece of malachite which is also flush with the setting. The under side shows signs of where the silversmith filed the outer rim giving it a beveled appearance. They them attached two (2) half round wire bands soldering them together across the bottom. Rather unique and primitive!

The ring face measures 1  1/16" by 9/16" across at the widest area. It weighs 5.3 grams and is a size 8 1/4. Unsigned sterling silver.  $49.95
