NEW! Extra large and heavy Navajo Eagle Kachina by John Larson. The Eagle Kachina displays a large five (5) stone Morenci turquoise headdress/mask that alternates with six (6) silver eagle feathers. The oval cut and polished Morenci stones are set into scallop cut bezels wrapped with twisted wire. The mask is outlined with variations of silver bead wire with two (2) Sleeping Beauty turquoise eyes and a long beak. The Eagle Kachina sports feathered wings for arms, a pendant necklace, a decorated loincloth with feather to side and an oval cut and polished Morenci stone also set in scallop cut bezel with twisted strip of sheet silver. A decorative concho belt along with knee high decorated moccasins. John has attached a thumb locking bolo clasp on back and included a clip on the back where the Eagle Kachina can be worn as a pendant. The bolo tie includes 4-ply braided black leather cord with the fluted saucer bead/drum end tips.

The large Eagle Kachina measures 4 1/4” tall by 3 1/4” across the wings. The 4-ply cord measures 50” end to end which includes the 3 3/4” fluted bead/drum end tips. One of the most favorite of all the dancers is the Eagle Kachina. Dancing in the mixed and kiva in the early spring. He dances to imitate the motion of the eagle and prayer for many more eagles. In ceremonies the Eagle Dancer is treated as an honored guest and are given many presents.
