Extra large Zuni multi stone inlay Thunderbird bolo with inlaid end tips. The bird is made with multiple stones and shells set in stone-to-stone inlaid or single stone. The artist uses turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, brown shell, and black jet to create the magnificent piece. The artist uses two (2) pieces of brown shell in the head with the beak, two strips in the chest, and feathers created with the black jet. The artist uses twisted wire across the top of the wings, tail feathers, and across the top of the end tip feathers along with nine (9) large silver drops to further decorate the bird. The artist also has decorated the end tips with a round turquoise inlay supporting two inlaid feathers of mother of pearl and black jet.

The extra large bird measures 2 7/8" tall by 2 3/8" across and is attached to the 4mm black braided leather cord with a thumb locking clasp. The leather cord measures 46" long which includes the 2 1/2" long by 1" across decorative inlay and sterling silver end tips.
