NEW! High end Navajo lapis lazuli custom silver overlay decorated bolo tie. Handmade by Everett and Mary Teller, they begin with two (2) spearhead cut sheets of solid sheet silver. The silver is slightly arched with the base sheet oxidized black and the second sheet displaying the Greek Key/Water symbol cut out. Once he overlays the two pieces he applies stamped border lines and custom texture to the bottom. Everett attaches a smooth silver bezel to hold the inverted teardrop cut and polished lapis lazuli stone. They finish by attaching a double loop slide on back side and apply a high sheen polishing to the silver on both sides. He attaches the setting to an 8-ply braided leather cord along with decorative stamped barrel shaped end tips.

The bolo setting measures 2 1/2” tall by 1 3/8” across narrowing to 1/4” across the bottom. The high quality lapis lazuli stone measures 1” by 5/8”. The 8-ply braided cord measures 40” long which includes the 2 5/8” long custom stamped barrel end tips. The complete bolo weighs 52.9 grams (1.87 oz or 1.70 ozt) and has been hallmarked EMT inside a fish - STERLING by Navajo artists Everett and Mary Teller on the back of the bolo setting and also on the bottom caps of both end tips.
