Large beautiful vintage Navajo collector's turquoise decorated silver pendant. The silversmith has used what appears to be a rare blue with rust brown spiderweb matrix turquoise slab from the Kingman Mine. Setting the highly polished stone into a saw tooth bezel wrapped with twisted wire. The artist continues to decorate by adding silver drops along with sunrise and deep stampwork around the outer rim. The artist finishes by attaching a stamped silver bale.

The pendant measures 2" by 1 5/8" across and including the bale stands 2 3/4" tall. The stone measures 41mm by 34mm across (approx 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" across). The pendant weighs 25 grams and is hallmarked LTB - Sterling by the silversmith. As we stated, the stone is very rare and the mine has been shutdown since the 70's I believe. You only find it in personal stashes and what you find these days brings a very high price. To give you an idea, I just saw a smaller similar polished nugget from the Kingman Mine online and the vendor was asking $750 for the stone nugget only.
