Nice vintage Navajo turquoise shadowbox. The silversmith has used an oblong cut and polished Kingman turquoise stone setting it into a sawtooth bezel The artist continues by hammering a repousse’ section of silver and cuts out the area that allows the stone to be seen creating the shadowbox. The artist keeps decorating around the shadowbox adding two (2) silver leaves that drape around the top of the shadowbox with a strange sunflower. Stamping along both sides with three (3) repeating sunrise stampings, and finishing up with a set of angel wings and a hogan button along with a silver bale at top.

The pendant measures 2” by 1 1/8” across. Including the bale it stands 2 3/8” tall. The bale will accommodate up to a 3/16” diameter cord or chain. It weighs 11.2 grams and is stamped STERLING. 97.95
