Each earring measures 2” by 5/8” across measured from top of circular ear stud down to bottom of the teardrop shaped hummingbird symbol. The actual teardrops measure 1” by 5/8” across. Interesting Info: This design originated in Zuni jewelry with silversmith Ellen Quandelacy (1924-2002), who might have been inspired by the rainbird design on old Zuni pottery. Ellen passed the pattern to her son Dickie who in turn taught it to his wife Amy (Wesely) Quandelacy. Other Zuni artisans have since used this design.
