Large, wide, vintage Navajo Sleeping Beauty turquoise silver tribal design overlay bracelet/cuff. The silversmith has created a heavy and wide silver overlay cuff displaying symbolized tribal designs on both sides of the cuff. The artist has then mounted an oval cut and polished stabilized Sleeping Beauty turquoise stone in the center setting it into a deep smooth silver bezel. The artist continues to decorate by running a repeat stampwork across both outer rims that runs the full length of the cuff. The artist finishes by rounding off both ends and applying a high sheen polishing to the inside and a satin sheen to the outside of the cuff.

The wide heavy cuff measures 1 1/2” wide tapering down to 15/16” wide at both ends. It holds an inner circumference of 6 1/2” plus a 1 1/4 opening. It will fit a 7 5/8” to 7 3/4” wrist as is and can be slightly and carefully adjusted to fit between a 7 3/8” to 7 7/8” wrist. The large bracelet weighs 80.6 grams (2.84 oz or 2.59 ozt) and is hallmarked DS - Sterling by the silversmith. There’s at least four (4) Navajo silversmiths that signed DS so I don’t want to make a guess. The artist did do a really great job! We have re-oxidized the overlay to renew the design.
