NEW!  Beautiful, solid, wide, and bold Navajo Emerald Valley turquoise Fleur Di Lis and Serpent decorated tufa cast bracelet! The bracelet displays a a beautiful oval cut and polished high grade teal blue/green turquoise stone with tan and light brown matrix from the Emerald Valley Mine. The artist has set the beautiful stone into a smooth bezel, wrapping it with twisted wire, and mounted it to a heavy solid tufa cast cuff. The artist carved a unique design into the tufa cast prior to pour that displays a large Fleur Di Lis symbol and a unique serpent or possibly a cyclone both sides of the cast. After removing the casted silver the artist cuts out around the two (2) designs and polishes smooth the outer sides of half the cuff. Tufa Casting is similar to typical sand casting, but instead of using sandstone the artist uses volcanic rock. The volcanic rock is much softer and brittle. Due to the aspects of the rock it tends to break way easier and even the most skilled smiths are lucky to get a single pour from a cast before it breaks or is damaged. Rarely they may get 2-3 castings at most.

The bracelet measures 1 1/2" wide at widest point with an inner circumference of 5 3/4" and a 1 1/8" opening. It will fit a 6 3/4" to 6 7/8" wrist as is and cannot be adjusted. It weighs a 83 grams (2.93 ounces or 2.67 troy ounces) and is hallmarked with a Feather - Sterling by Navajo silversmith Anthony Bowman.
