Solid vintage Hopi Man in the Maze - Bear/Badger Paws silver overlay belt buckle. The silv ersmith has created a bold silver overlay belt buckle displaying the “Man in the Maze” symbol along with bear/badger claws and running water symbols to both sides. The base has been oxidized and etched with the symbol cut out overlay set on a satin finish plate. The artist finishes the buckle attaching both a swivel belt connection and solid set pin on back side.

The solid belt buckle measures 2” tall by 3” across and weighs a healthy 54.7 grams (1.93 oz or 1.76 ozt) It’s hallmarked with a Roadrunner Symbol - STERLING by Hopi silversmith Edward Lomahongva (Phillips). He’s been producing since 1979 and was taught at Hopicrafts. The buckle was previously owned and shows very little slight scuffing from previous wear.
