Vintage Navajo double strand turquoise and shell heishi necklace. The artist has strung two (2) strands, one slightly longer than the other, using turquoise nuggets, white shell heishi, and dark brown pin shell heishi all evenly balance in design. The artist has strung the strands on bead wire capping off both ends with two (2) silver seamed beads and handmade hook-n-eye clasp.

The shortest strand of the necklace measures 28” long with the longer strand measuring 30” long end to end. It has a wearable length of 15” from clasp down one side to bottom of longest strand. It weighs 49.8 grams (1.76 oz). The turquoise nuggets average 11mm by 9mm, the white shell heishi is 4mm, and the brown lip heishi is 3mm. Very nice vintage bead necklace! $149.95
