Large beautiful handmade, hand carved vintage Santo Domingo turquoise tiger shell jacla necklace with spiny oyster corn beads. Both strands of the necklace consist of five (5) cut and polished "corn kernels" made from the spondylus (spiny oyster) shell separated with tiger shell heishi beads. The artist then uses hand carved turquoise disc beads also separated with shell heishi. Towards the end of the strands the artist converts to specifically tiger shell which slowly graduates smaller up to the silver end cones and shepherd's hook clasp. The end cones are also hand made. All strung on nylon coated beading wire.

The necklace measures 29" long end to end which constitutes the shorter of the two (2) stands. The wearable length is 15 3/4" long from the clasp to the bottom of the corn beads on longest strand. It weighs 114.6 grams (4.04 ounces) and is unsigned. Very nice vintage necklace for both men and women!  $267.95
