This beautiful vintage Mexican bracelet has been made with both sterling silver and alpaca silver. The silversmith has created three (3) settings across the face of the bracelet. The center setting displays a coral redbird with coral and turquoise leaves set into an oval mother of pearl background. Wrapping the MOP oval with twisted wire and decorative sunrise stamped smooth wire. To each side the artist has added Sleeping Beauty turquoise polished nugget and a stick of branch coral on opposite side. Both are set into sawtooth bezels with two (2) silver leaves and two (2) silver drops. There’s also a large sunrise stamped button inside both. The artist has used alpaca silver for the cuff wires, sunrise buttons, and the base/background of the display based on the obvious yellowish tint of the metal (70% silver 30% copper) The large amount of copper causes the yellowish tint. The rest is sterling silver decorations (bezels, leaves, cross support bars, twisted wire, and silver drops.

The bracelet measures 1” wide tapering down to 1/4” wide at both ends. It holds an inner circumference of 5 1/4” with a 1 1/8” opening. It fits a 6 1/4” to 6 3/8” wrist as is and can be adjusted to fit between a 6 1/8” to 6 1/2” wrist if desired. The bracelet weighs 31.1 grams (1.10 oz or 1 ozt) and is stamped SMJ.
