The silversmith uses a teardrop cut and polished purple spiny oyster stone set into sawtooth bezels and wrapped with coiled wire along with smooth wire around the outer rim and a large silver drop at top. The artist cuts the outer smooth wire into small sections which also cut through the sheet silver base under the wire. He finishes by attaching a clip-on attachment on the back.

Each earring measures 3/4” by 5/8” across. They weigh 4.1 grams each (8.2 grams per set) and are hallmarked ROIE JAQUE - STERLING by the Navajo silversmith.
