Highly decorated vintage 30’s-50’s Navajo petrified wood decorated stamped bracelet. Made for a child or petite lady, the silversmith has created a small decorated and stamped hand cut cuff adding an abstract rectangular cut and polished piece of petrified wood. The artist has set the stone into a smooth silver rim bezel wrapping it with twisted wire and encasing it with repeating crescent moon wire. The artist continues by adding four (4) circular full moons flanked by twisted wire on both sides of the3 stone. They apply sunrise stamping and add a Thunderbird symbol on the very end of both sides of the cuff. Very old bracelet most likely made for the women of the time, but over the years women aren’t as dainty and are healthier hence the recommendation of child or small lady.

The small bracelet measures 1” wide tapering down to 1/4” wide at both ends. It holds an inner circumference of 4 5/8” plus a 1 1/4” opening and fits a 5 3/4 to 5 7/8” wrist. We don’t recommend any adjustment because these older cuffs are well known to break from adding any pressure or stress to the sides of the cuff. The bracelet weighs 22.5 grams and is unsigned sterling silver. Nice specimen to start or add to a collection.
