Bold vintage Navajo/Kewa silver overlay bear watchband. The silversmith has created a nice version of a bear in silver overlay rounded watch tips. The silver has a brushed silver sheen. We re-oxidized the bear.

Each watch tip measures 1 1/2” by 1 3/8” across tapering down to 7/8” across the bottom. The watch shank barrel tubes measure 17.5mm (11/16”). The watch tips come attached to a decorative adjustable stainless steel stretchband that measures 3 1/2” long. We can exchange for a longer or shorter standard stretchband if requested. Click Here to see the different lengths. The complete watchband weighs 34.6 grams (1.22 oz or 1.11 ozt) and has a Cloud-like hallmark. Only hallmark we could find similar belongs to Kewa/Santo Domingo artist Joe Tortalita (b.1922- ?). but not certain it’s his mark because if still alive he’d be 100 years old?
