Here’s an old one! Wide “cigar band” turquoise ring. The ring sports a large turquoise nugget. It shows a piece of clear quartz setting in the valley of the stone so I’m going to stick my foot out and say it’s from the Sleeping Beauty Mine. It a non-treated natural nugget hence causing the green toning of absorbing human oils and acids over time. It’s set very tightly into a smooth silver bezel wrapped with twisted wire. The silversmith has mounted the stone to the cigar band. The artist has oxidized the band and decorated it with large leaves shooting up both sides along with scroll wires and silver drops. The artist finishes by wrapping the outer rims with half round wire applying decorative stampwork on both outer wires.

The ring face measures 1 5/16” by 7/8” across and weighs a hefty 21.4 grams. It’s a size 9 1/4 and is stamped cSc with a Y Feather by Canyon Silver Company. $397.95
