Extra large, heavy turquoise inlay cast silver decorative pitted collector’s ring. Made by noted Cherokee silversmith Lee Epperson. He’s created a heavy cast silver band and has inlaid a large rectangular slab of blue turquoise with slight brown and light brown matrix. The silversmith has cut out areas on both sides and applied a pitted appearance along with a blackened oxidation followed by silver nuggets and drops as decoration. The band is flat across the bottom which helps the ring from spinning sideways on the finger. He’s finished them by applying a high polishing to both the outside and inside of the ring.

The ring face measures 1 1/8” by 7/8” across and it weighs a hefty 46.4 grams (1.62 oz or 1.47 ozt) to 47.8 grams (1.64 oz or 1.49 ozt) each. It’s a size 11 1/4 and handcrafted by Cherokee silversmith Lee Epperson. Born in 1935, Mr Epperson has created sculptures, paintings, and cast silver/gold fabrications.
