Heavy vintage Navajo turquoise and coral raised mosaic inlay sandcast ring. The silversmith created a heavy sandcast sterling silver ring band and decorated the face with four (4) cut and polished pieces of green turquoise and a single piece of cut branch coral. All set in a silver channel mosaic style raised inlay.

The ring face measures 1 3/16” by 11/16” across and weighs a hefty 28.3 grams (1oz). It’s a size 9 and is unsigned sterling silver. I’d place the ring being made somewhere between the 1950’s to early 1970’s. The piece of coral does have a crack, but it’s set tight and not going anywhere!
