Item #955R- Vintage Navajo Copper Decorated Arrows, Thunderbirds, Serpent, Hogans, and Sun Symbols Stamped Cuff Bracelet by Bell Trading
Vintage 30’s to 50’s Navajo made decorative stamped symbols copper bracelet. The bracelet displays numerous tribal symbols made to satisfy the tourist trade during the so-called “Harvey Era” of the 30’s and 40’s. The bracelet shows a large repousse’ stamped oval sun in center along with a stack of three (3) repousse’ hogans or homes on both sides. The artist comes back with stamped symbols of diamond eyes, Thunderbirds, double arrows, double Thunderbird symbols, and a zig zag water snake at the very ends. Symbolized stampwork was very popular during this timeline for the tourist trade heading out to California. Both ends of the cuff come to an almost point, another trait used back in this timeline also.
