Beautiful vintage Santo Domingo traditional turquoise nugget and olive shell heshi necklace with added turquoise shell jacla. The necklace consists of eleven (11) flat cut and polished turquoise stones which some appear to be from different mines. The stones are strung evenly between 4mm olive shell heshi onto cotton twine with both ends tied together. The turquoise appears to be from possibly Stormy Mountain and Carico Mines, but I may be wrong. Beautiful quality turquoise either way! The necklace has an added turquoise and white shell jacla.

The turquoise stones measure between 1 1/4" by 3/4" across to the smallest being 1/2" by 1/2" across. The jacla consists of two (2) strands that measures 5" long as is or approximately 10" end to end. The complete necklace measures approximately 24" end to end figuring both sides with a wearable length of 12" long and including the jacla is 17 1/4" long.
