NEW! Large Navajo turquoise boulder agate - Royston Ribbon decorated hair barrette. Made by Everett and Mary Teller, they have created a large hair barrette using an oval cut and polished turquoise boulder agate mounted in the center and set into a smooth silver bezel. The stone is often called Royston Ribbon turquoise due to the fact it’s mostly found in the Royston Dist. Mines. Mother Earth creates the turquoise in the cracks and crevasses of the agate rock and when mined appears in thin “ribbons” inside the agate. The Tellers have continued to decorate the barrette by stamping four (4) arrows or “V’s” along with cutting a divot on the outside rim or each arrow. Finishing the barrette by attaching a standard spring loaded barrette clip.
