Beautiful vintage Zuni/Hopi/Pueblo turquoise Water Serpent cufflinks. Each cufflink displays a triangular cut and flush inlaid turquoise stone on one end and a silver overlay of the Avanyu Water Serpent on the other end. It shows the stairstep symbol for water as the tail of the serpent and the serpents head on the angled neck. Known mostly in the Pueblo tribes, Tewa, Zuni, and Hopi. I’d tag these as Zuni or Hopi since most of the other tribes aren’t known for silver jewelry.

Both cufflinks measure approximately 3/4” by 5/8” and weigh 6.1 grams (12.2 grams per set). Unsigned sterling silver. $132.95
