Cute vintage southwest carnelian turtle. The silversmith has created an oval smooth bezel setting and added the details of a turtle to it. the head, neck, tail, and legs along with detailed stampwork highlights. The artist then mounted an oval cut and polished carnelian stone. Finishing the brooch by attaching a safety locking pin and clasp on the back.

The turtle brooch measures 15/16” by 1 7/16” across and weighs 6.8 grams. It’s stamped 925 sterling silver on the back side. WE received this brooch with a mix of native and southwest items and figured someone would like it. Not Native American made. Nice southwest carnelian turtle brooch! $38.95
