Beautifully decorated Navajo repousse’ and decorative stamped sterling concho brooch. The silversmith has applied a repousse’ stamping in the center which raises an oval area along with a second repousse’ stamping of and oblong oval in the exact center. The artist has applied repeat stamping to resemble a flower or sunburst. Around the outer rim of the concho the artist has added stamped p[lant and sunrise symbols along with other stampwork across the top and bottom of the concho. The artist finishes by attaching a safety locking pin on the back.

The decorative stamped concho brooch measures 1 1/2” tall by 1 7/8” across and weighs 7.8 grams. It’s unsigned sterling silver. The brooch had black spots of tarnish/patina when we received it. We cleaned it, but left a section on the inside of the center oblong repousse’ on the back side to show it’s sterling grade. Other metals won’t tarnish like silver does.
