Vintage Navajo fire agate decorated ring. The silversmith has used an oval cut and polished Mexican Fire Agate stone setting it into a shallow smooth silver bezel wrapped with twisted wire. The artist continues by also wrapping a heavier gauge twisted wire around the outer rim of the setting. The artist uses a flat silver split shank band and over lays a section of sheet silver to enforce the strength of the band and also cover the split shank. The artist finishes the ring by adding sunburst rays on both sides of the ring band.
