NEW! Navajo oblong oval green apatite ring. The silversmith has used an oblong oval cut and polished dark green apatite stone. The stone is rarely seen in a raw form and is seen more in it’s translucent form in jewelry. The colors in this particular setting displays dark green to green along with white to clear quartz-like reflective patches and holds a 5 rating on the Mohs scale for hardness. Basically the same or slightly softer than turquoise which holds a 5-6 rating.. The reflective stone or mineral is set into a smooth silver bezel wrapped with twisted wire. The silversmith finishes the ring by soldering three (3) half round wires together and separating them prior to reaching the setting creating a resemblance of a split shank band.

The ring face measures 1 1/4” by 5/8” across and weighs 9.8 grams. It’s a size 11 and hallmarked M - Sterling by the silversmith. Beautiful reflective properties and is know as a heart healing stone in the metaphysical aspect. One reading stated it would control blood pressure?
