Very nice vintage Navajo "new stock" ladies turquoise chip inlay Yei and crop symbols inlay watchcuff. Made most likely in 70's-80's, but never used or worn. The artist has created a ladies watchcuff with chip inlay symbols on both sides. One side displays a Yei-be-chi symbol and the other side displays multiple stacked arrows which represent plants or crops. Both filled with turquoise chips along with added decorative stampwork down the outer edges and across the bottom ends. The artist completes the watchcuff attaching shell shaped and stamped prayer feather fans watch guards along with the metal strips to secure the watch to the cuff.

The watchcuff measures 7/16" wide with an inner circumference of 5 3/8" plus a 1 1/4" opening. It will fit a 6 1/2" to 6 5/8" wrist as is and we don't recommend adjusting due to the possibility of popping the inlay out. The watchcuff weighs 22.4 grams and is hallmarked with a peyote bird, the mark of Navajo silversmith Gibson Gene. Guaranteed sterling silver.
