Beautiful vintage 40’s-50’s Zuni multi stone inlay Knifewing deity pin/brooch. The artist has used turquoise, spiny oyster, jet, and mother of pearl all stone-to-stone inlaid into eight (8) different sections. Each section is set into a very fine cut serrated bezels. The artist has used silver wire to create earrings and has ran a row of three (3) silver buttons under both wings along with a row of five (5) buttons under the tailfeathers. Finishing the brooch by attaching a safety locking pin on the back. The spiny oyster looks more reddish-pink in real life.

The Knifewing measures 1 1/4” by 1 1/8” across, weighs 5.8 grams, and is unsigned sterling silver. It does have K+1 etched on the back, but I believe it’s a store inventory mark. Very nice Zuni Knifewing brooch from yesteryear! $159.95
