Beautiful vintage 40's-50's Mexican/Hopi jade necklace, ring, and earrings set. We have listed the set as vintage Mexican due to the use of green jade, but there are similar hallmarks connected to Hopi silversmiths. You make the call. The silversmith has created a large double jade focal point necklace setting the stones into smooth silver bezels and creating a somewhat shadowbox settings around the stones using round wire with decorative notching at eh of the four directional paths around the stone. The artist adds large single silver drops on both sides of the top stone with a row of graduating silver drops to the lower sides of the large stone. the artist included two (2) silver leaves that separate the stones. All mounted to a scorched blackened silver base. The ring is decorated similar to the top stone on the pendant with a wide split shank silver band attached. The earrings also are similar with single silver drops on each side along with double silver leaves across the bottom of jade stone. We received the set without any chain for the necklace and had Navajo silversmith attach the decorative stampe cable chains with hook-n-eye clasp attached. It's been soldered so no risk of easily coming off.
