Beautiful Zuni multi stone inlay Thunderbird watchband. Both watch tips display a colorful multi stone inlay Thunderbird using mostly white mother of pearl and yellow pearl shell along with black jet, turquoise, and coral. All set in both stone-to-stone and channel inlay and mounted to an oxidized silver base. The artist continues to decorate by adding silver drops around the head and on the sides of the birds chest. She also runs fine twisted wire along the outside of the shoulders, wings, and across the bottom under the tailfeathers. Finishing each watch tip by attaching a hooped wire on the bottom to connect the stretchband and a barrel tube at top to attach the watch.

Each watch tip measures 1 3/4” by 1 1/8” across with a watch shank barrel tube of 12mm ( 7/16”). The watch tips are presently attached to a new 3 1/4” long adjustable stainless steel stretchband. The complete watchband weighs 26.4 grams and is hallmarked MB on one tip and STERLING on the other. We attribute the beautiful piece to Zuni artist Madeline Beyuka.
