Large, heavy, beautiful Navajo light blue Dry Creek turquoise squashblossom necklace. The silversmith has created one hundred thirty eight (138) handmade 9mm sterling silver seamed beads, twelve (12) fluted blossoms, and a large six (6) stone naja using a total of eighteen (18) cut and polished light blue turquoise stones with light brown, dark brown, and white to tan matrix from the Dry Creek Mine. This is the same mine that the infamous “White Turquoise” is found. Each stone is set into a smooth bezel and wrapped with heavy twisted wire. The naja consists of two (2) heavy thick gauge half round wires which have been flared out on both ends.. The fluted blossoms measure between 1 1/2” by 5/8” across up to 2 1/4” by 1” across. The naja measures 3 1/8” by 2 7/8” across. The stones range between the smallest on the naja that’s 15mm by 9mm up to the largest one in the blossoms of 34mm by 22mm. All strung on a thick gauge foxtail chain with custom hook-n-eye clasp. Very well made to handle the excessive weight!

The necklace measures 28” long end to end with a wearable length of 16 3/8” measured down one side from clasp to bottom of naja.
