Beautiful solid vintage fourteen (14) piece Hopi sunburst/flower silver overlay concho belt. Consists of thirteen (13) oval decorated overlay conchos along with a larger, yet similar buckle all attached to a soft black leather belt. Each concho including the buckle displays the sunburst/flower that's encircled with a silver frame being overlaid onto an oxidized and etched textured blackened silver base in center. The artist also overlays the outer silver with seven (7) cuts marking each of the four directional paths. The artist finishes each concho by cutting and shaping the oval setting. Each concho has a wide copper belt slide attached to the back and the buckle has a swivel type belt clasp with solid set pin.

The belt buckle measures 1 7/16" by 1 7/8" across with each concho measuring 1 1/4" by 1  11/16" across. The belt is 5/8" wide and measures 38" long from buckle clasp to end tip. It has four (4) buckle set holes at approximately 33", 34", 35", and 37" and you can cut a new hole as needed to fit your waist. The complete belt weighs 215.5 grams (7.60 oz or 6.93 ozt) and the buckle is hallmarked with a stylized B - STERLING. I'm attributing the belt to Hopi silversmith Bobby Tewa.
