NEW! Beautiful colorful Zuni multi stone inlay butterfly pin/pendant and pendant only. In appearance the both are very similar with only difference being the body and beginning of the wings. The artist has used yellow shell for the body and white mother of pearl for the first sections of the wings for the (item 842F) pin/pendant butterfly. She has reversed the shells for the (item 842F-1) pendant only butterfly using MOP for the body and yellow she4ll for the start of the wings. Item 842F, the pin/pendant butterfly, has a horseshoe wire mounted to the back of the butterfly's head with a safety locking pin that runs across the bottom back side of the top wings. Item 842F-1, the pendant only butterfly, has a large teardrop shaped wire attached above the butterfly's head. Both are the same in size and the artist has used turquoise, coral, black jet, mother of pearl, and yellow shell in a channel inlay fashion.

Both butterflies measure 1 1/8" by 1" across with the pendant only butterfly standing 1 1/2" tall which includes the wire bale. The pen/pendant butterfly weighs 4.8 grams with the pendant only butterfly weighing 4 grams. Both are stamped STERLING and hand etched A.DISHTA - ZUNI by Zuni lapidarist/silversmith Allison Dishta.
