Bold extra large Navajo lapis lazuli feathers and scrolls decorated ring. The silversmith custom made this ring using a lapis lazuli cabochon set into a sawtooth bezel and wrapped with twisted wire. Mounting the stone to a thick gauged silver with heavy gauge half round wire attached to the outer rims of the band that continue across the back of the band. He even added an extra stick of half round across the bottom for added weight and making it very stout. The artist continued by decorating both sides with three (3) silver feathers, scrolls, and silver drops.

The extra large ring measures 1 3/16” by 3/4” across the stone and twisted wire. It weighs a heavy 30.2 grams (1.07 oz or .97 ozt) and is a size 16 1/2. The ring is hallmarked GB - STERLING - Lightning Bolt by Navajo silversmith Garrison Boyd while working for Alltribes. We traded with a gentleman that had this ring and two (2) more rings custom made. The rings show little if any signs of previous wear. Knowing the mark up on custom work and considering where he bought the rings I’d lay money he paid quite a bit more than what we are asking. $294.95
