Heavy vintage Zuni turquoise and mother of pearl inlaid sandcast ring. The silversmith has created a heavy sandcast sterling silver ring band and mounted two (2) types of turquoise along with mother of pearl. The artist has left a bare strip of the silver band exposed in the center and on each side has used a cut and polished piece of turquoise and a piece of cut and polished mother of pearl shell using a silver channel to separate the two (2) stones. One side displays the turquoise above the MOP and the other side displays the turquoise under the MOP. The bluer stone is Kingman, but not sure what the blue-green turquoise is? Maybe Castle Dome?

The large heavy ring measures approximately 1 1/4” by 7/8” across and weighs a hefty 28.6 grams (1.01 oz). It’s a size 10 and is unsigned sterling silver. Beautiful, large, and heavy Zuni sandcast turquoise and mother of pearl ring! $189.95
