Large heavy vintage Navajo twelve (12) piece bisbee turquoise decorative stamped concho link belt. The silversmith has created twelve (12) identically stamped round scallop cut conchos connected each one to the next with large solid soldered jump rings. Each concho has sheet silver strips formed as female connections to hold the jump rings with exception of the buckle which has a stout handmade wire shepherds hook attached to one side. Each concho consists of a sun symbol stamped in the center and surrounded with repeating plant symbols. The artist continues decorating by running crescent moon, full moon/sun and sunrise symbols around the scallop cut edges of the concho. The very last concho and the buckle concho have beautiful oval cut and polished Bisbee turquoise stones covering the initial sun symbol in center and set in scallop cut bezels. This vintage link belt is far from the average concho link belts you normally see whereas the artist has used thick solid silver to create the conchos and the addition of the rare Bisbee turquoise stones.

The full concho belt measures 35 1/2” long end to end with each concho measuring 2” diameter. The large jump rings measure 15/16” diameter. The rare Bisbee stones measure 17mm by 14mm at buckle and 15mm by 12mm at end concho. The complete belt weighs a heavy 230.4 grams (8.13 oz or 7.41 ozt) and is unsigned sterling silver. The link belt is one of the largest and definitely the heaviest one we’ve ever had and based on that plus the rare Bisbee turquoise we’ve tagged this belt as a collector’s item. $1169.95
