Vintage 60’s-70’s Santo Domingo silver/turquoise inlay with black onyx and sterling silver disc bead choker necklace. The artist has hand cut graduating black onyx disc beads along with creating solid silver disc beads and highlighting with the three (3) solid silver teardrops with turquoise inlay. All strung on twine finishing each end with a sterling seamed bead, silver cone, and hook-n-eye clasp.

The necklace measures 17 1/2” end to end with a wearable length of 9 1/4” measured from clasp down one side to bottom of largest turquoise/silver teardrop bead. The disc beads range from 3mm up to 9mm and the onyx beads are all different thicknesses. The turquoise inlaid silver teardrop beads measure 15mm by 5mm with the larger one being 20mm by 7mm. The complete necklace weighs 37 grams (1.30 oz or 1.19 ozt) with the silver cones hallmarked with an unfamiliar hallmark.
